The Meaning Behind the Name
Many ask us, "What is a Poiema?"
In the original Greek text of Ephesians 2:10, the word used for "workmanship" is poiema. It means a work of art, a poem, or a masterpiece sculpted by the Creator.
At House of Poiema, we believe you are not just a random occurrence; you are God’s intentionally crafted masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works.

Our Mission
We didn't start this brand to sell jewelry, hoodies, or wall art. We started it to spark conversations.
We want our designs to be "armor" for your daily life. Whether it’s a necklace that reminds you of your worth or a canvas that declares peace over your home, every item is designed to turn eyes toward Jesus.

A Note from the Founder

Hi, I'm Jos Hananel, and I started House of Poiema because I believe identity is everything.
As a volunteer in my church's prison ministry, I've witnessed firsthand how broken identity leads to broken lives. But I've also seen the transformation that happens when someone discovers who they truly are in Christ.

Here's what I learned: The enemy of our soul works overtime to make us forget who we are. He whispers lies about our worth, our purpose, our belonging. And too many believers, both inside and outside prison walls, are living beneath their God-given identity.

House of Poiema exists to change that.

Every necklace, bracelet, and piece of wall art we create carries the truth of Scripture, reminders that you are chosen, beloved, redeemed, and created as God's masterpiece.
